River Bank Fishing Trips offer a true angling experience, enjoying the true beauty of Alaska, and staying away from the big crowds.  If you desire to come up to Alaska and go fishing without spending all day in a boat, try our Full Day or Half Day Guided River Bank Fishing Trips on some of the most pristine waters in the world.  The Homer area has a number of great locations for river bank fishing.  Fishing is a great relaxing family activity for the day, with no experience required. We will provide you with all the gear you need, and match you with a professional guide to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable fishing experience.  Our clients range from the advanced fly fisherman to a novice beginner.

Anchor River - Located 15 miles north of Homer, in Anchor Point is the Anchor River.  In late May and Early June, the King Salmon run is great fishing, averaging 20-28 Lbs.  Open for Fishing Sat. Sun. & Mon. Only! 5/19-6/18.  Silver Salmon run in mid August - October.  Rainbow Trout and Steelhead open August 1st, catch and release only, and can't be taken out of the water.  Barbless hooks work best to save the fish, and ensure the future run.

Deep Creek & Ninilchek River - Located 40 miles north of Homer.  In late May and Early June, the King Salmon run is great fishing, averaging 20-28 Lbs.  Open for Fishing Sat. Sun. & Mon. 5/19-6/18. the fall offers a silver run, but the Anchor River is bigger.

Kasilof RiverLocated 20 Miles south of Soldotna is a great river for King Salmon, Sockeye, Silvers, and Rainbow Trout.  River bank fishing is limited only by the number of places available, although not many folks river bank fish for King Salmon,  most folks hire a guided drift boat trip.  The Sockeye and Silver Salmon river bank fishing is great.

Kenai River - Located in Soldotna and Kenai.  Home of the biggest King Salmon, two runs of King Salmon and Sockeye, starting in June all through August.  Sockeye river bank fishing is a great way to fill a cooler and send it home.  One day with a guide who can show you the tricks of the trade and you and your family can have a fishing adventure of a lifetime.  Limit of 3 sockeye can be upgraded to 6 sockeye per day.

            Half Day $99   (3-4 hours)

 

Humpy Creek - A unique opportunity to get across to the Kachemak Bay State Park.  We take a water taxi from the Homer boat harbor 30 min. across Kachemak Bay where we can catch Kings, Chums, Dolly Varden, and maybe see a black bear on our tour.  This is a Full Day guided river bank fishing trip, because of having to plan the tides for drop off and pick-up.

Cost :   Full Day  $225 ( 6 hours)  Water taxi and State Park Fee included.
