Rivers for Float Trips

           Alagnak River

Located 100 miles north of King Salmon, Alaska, is one of the best rainbow trout rivers in the state and has one of the largest runs of Pacific Salmon, Kings, Sockeye, and Silvers.  The Grayling and Dolly Varden fishing is excellent along the way.  We travel down the Alagnak River starting from the Nonvianuk headwaters at Nonvianuk Lake, and fish along the way until we stop to set up camp and dinner.  We may stay two nights at one camp spot if the fishing is there.

            Togiak River

The Togiak River offers great fishing for all species of Pacific Salmon, Trophy Rainbow Trout, and Arctic Char.  You must fly into Dillingham, AK, this is where we fly out to the river.  The Togiak is a very clear river, and offers great views as we are surrounded by mountains the whole way.

            Moraine Creek

If you want the dream fishing trip of a lifetime, make sure you are on one of our guided Float Trips on Moraine Creek.  You will have an exceptional week of fishing with the bears, catching world class rainbow trout in the 28"-32" range.  We travel by raft and spend the week floating the Moraine, camping in a few great fishing spots, fishing for huge rainbows.  It is nice to beat all the Fly-In fisherman who stay in the warm lodges, and fly out for the day.

Many other rivers are available for float trips including:

          Goodnews River

          Kwethluk River

          American River

              and many more…

The bears know these great fishing spot also, so we give them their space and stay 100 yards away at all times.  Bears usually keep their distance, but we stay aware of them and haven't ever had a problem. No group of more than 2 people has ever been reported being attacked by bears in this area.
